I recently moved out of Mumbai. Since in urgency I could not cancel my AIRTEL Post paid cell phone service (Cell no 9892552529). So I asked my parents to do the same. When they went there They had to wait for an hour only to be told that they are not authorized to cancel the phone. They tried to explain them that it is not possible for me to come to India just to cancel the phone services. They sad they could not help it. I feel I have been trapped since I had made a mistake of giving them a instruction of a direct debit on my credit card. Now the cell is not working and Still I have to pay them. My parents have to keep going from one customer care to other. They are not even accepting if we send it in writing which I can do from here. 

Solution of your complaintSolution is to cancel the cell phone and refund the last 2 months of rental that they have charged me even though I have not used the cell. 
ActionI Will have to go to higher authorities in Airtel if possible or cancel my credit card.
