I purchased my Nokia 6260 handset in Aug2005.In the first week itself it developed a speaker problem.I got my piece repaired from the service centre,but I again faced the same problem,so eventually I had to get the peice Replaced.Unfortunately this was not an end to my misery,the new handset too had the same problem,this same procedure of repair and replacement continued till Jun06..by this time I had already got the piece replaced 3 times.
Not to mention we have to wait for more than 3 hours every time we visit the Service centre and whenever they agreed to replace the piece I was asked to wait for minimum of 20 days as the piece was out of stock always.
Now after going through so much,I raised a complaint (Complaint no 2-1GGN37) asking them to give me one of the following options : 1)refund my money,2)give me an option to go for any other nokia handset,3)Extend the warranty of my Present Handset (coz I received this on 14th June06 and still it has the same problem).
After raising the complaint I was told that the complaints team will get in touch with me within 48 hours,but this never happened.It was me who had to call up the customer care and ask for the status of my complaint.I was told that Miss Infancy is looking into my case and that she will get in touch with me within 2hours.
I never received a call from her,and all I came to know from the customer service executives that my case is being worked upon,and Miss Infancy will get in touch with me in some time.After 5 days I got a call from her stating that they can offer me either 6600 or 3230,that too without a warranty.I at once said no to the offer,since I need warranty for the new handsets they are ready to provide.I was promised my her that she will confirm the same with the Head Office and get back to me by End Of Day,but till date I never got a call from her end.I call up Customer service centre ,and I get nothing but false promises that I will receive a call from them within 2 Hours time.
Now its been almost 17 days but nothing has been done from their end.Thanks to Miss Infancy.
