three of the last four deliveries made to my home were delivered well after seven p.m. The last late delivery was made at exactly 8:05 p.m. I informed the driver that I would not accept any deliveries made after 6 p.m. The last delivery made last week was dropped off outside my screen door at exactly 5:55 p.m. and had all the earmarks of having been either stepped on or thrown about in such a manner that the packaging was completely crushed. My environment is living in a gated community and at the next meeting of our association, I will propose "locking out" all delivery services after 5:30 p.m. thus allowing the driver on site to complete his/her delivery at a respectable time. It should not surprise UPS officials that they are the ONLY negligent delivery service as FED-EX completes all of their deliveries long before the 3 p.m. hour. Ringing door-bells in the dark can be construed as a definite safety hazard, gated community or not. I doubt that I will get one, but a reply from a UPS official would be greatly appreciated. Solution of your complaint
A committment on UPS part that all night time deliveries will be halted in the name of safety and good community relations.
As described in my complaint form, I will make a proposal at our next association meeting to "lock out" any and all delivery services at a reasonable hour, preferably 5:30 p.m. At the present time, the ONLY service delivering after this hour, is UPS.
