I had purchased a smartphone on Ebay, paid the amount ( Rs 26398/- )through so called trusted PAISAPAY method of Ebay.
After days of wait, i dint get any product, contacted the seller in Mumbai ..he has already ran away.
I contacted Ebay to tell abt the fraud seller, to which Ebay replied that I should contact the credit card company to get refund. Or submit a letter from credit card bank, stating denial of re-imbursement. The bank is not ready to issue such letters.
The policy of Buyer Protection on Ebay states that Paisapay users are protected for a amt of rs 50000/- And no such bank letters are reqd. But Ebay has closed the claim. They are not ready to share the sellers details for a police complaint.
I want raise this issue against Ebay and the seller. Pls guide me through the consumer court process.
