I had purchased a Maruti Suzuki Alto LX car on 20th January, 2006 from M/S Popular Vehicles & Services Ltd, Kottayam. After 2 months the car had met with an accident & was given to M/S Indus Motor Co. (P) Ltd, Kottayam for doing the entire repair work. I had spent additional Rs. 12,000/- besides the insurance amount. They assured me that car will be given back in showroom condition. It took around 45 days to complete the work. Finally after getting the car back during rainy days leakeage started from the left end bottom side of the front glass. Lot of rain water entered the car & the entire floor mat got wet resulted in the rust formation on bottom plate & door sides. When I took the car to the above said Maruti service centre they said it was beacuse of the sealing compalint with the dash board & the door allignment problem. Initially they had cleared the complaint & giventhe car. Within 2 days again the same complaint started & this time they had assured that the same problem wont happen in future. But now I am facing the same problem & my entire vehicles bottom started rusting. More over their handling of car during any repair work is very poor. There are lot of scratches on the fibre parts. Now my car looks like a very old car & a bad smell started beacuse of the mat getting wet.
I request Maruti Udyou Ltd. to either replace the car with a new car or ask M/S Indus Mote Co. (P) Ltd. to do the entire work mentioned above including replacing of the fibre parts, rusts etc on compliment basis. I wont be able to make any additional payment sither to maruti Udyog Ltd. or to M/S Indis Motor Co. (P) Ltd.
